South Africa has gained recognition for having one of the constitutions worldwide which offers safeguards to lgbtq+Q+ individuals.

Additionally this event creates an welcoming environment where lgbtq+Q+ individuals and their allies can come together to celebrate their identities fostering a sense of unity and belonging.

In times Johannesburg Pride has embraced themes like "Pride of Africa" and "Green, for a Sustainable Tomorrow." These themes aim to shed light on aspects of the lgbtq+Q+ communitys experiences while promoting inclusivity and addressing broader as well as environmental concerns.
